Momentum and energy injection by a wind-blown bubble into an inhomogeneous interstellar medium

We investigate the effect of mass-loading from embedded clouds on evolution wind-blown bubbles. use 1D hydrodynamical calculations and assume that are numerous enough they can be treated in continuous limit, rapid mixing occurs so injected mass quickly merges with global flow. The destruction adds into bubble, increasing its density. Mass-loading increases temperature unshocked stellar wind due to frictional drag, reduces hot shocked gas as available thermal energy is shared between more particles. may increase or decrease volume-averaged bubble pressure. Mass-loaded bubbles smaller, have less retained lower radial momentum, but all cases examined still able do significant $PdV$ work swept-up gas. In this latter respect, closely resemble energy-conserving than momentum-conserving-like behaviour ``quenched''
